No Contracts No Cancellation Fees

At 5 Star Lawn Solutions, there’s no contract and no cancellation fees. We don’t believe in locking people in—we’d rather earn your business through great service and real results. Many of our customers have stayed with us for over 15 years because we do what we say and make it a great experience.

Minimum Treatment Policy

Please note: While we are not a contract company, we do require a minimum of the first three (3) consecutive full treatments, spaced 30–45 days apart.
Weed control takes time, and results are not typically seen after just one visit. Our treatment schedule is designed to target weeds at the most effective times of the year. Skipping or delaying treatments can reduce effectiveness and impact your lawn’s health.
Treatments occur every 4–6 weeks. If the second or third treatment is skipped and not rescheduled before the next visit, it will still be charged as part of the required sequence.

Lawn Results Disclaimer

Lawn results vary depending on the lawn condition, soil health, and weed levels. Some lawns may fully recover in 2–3 months, while others, especially those heavily infested with weeds, may take 1–2 years to fully recover and fill in with grass. We do our part, but clients must follow watering and mowing instructions to ensure treatment effectiveness. Signing up later in the year may also slightly delay results, as treatments are most effective before weeds start to emerge. For faster results, we highly encourage a Soil Test, which can help tailor treatments to your lawn’s specific needs. Please note, every lawn’s timeline and outcome can vary.

Mowing Guidelines

If we arrive and your grass is over 12 inches tall, an additional fee will be added to your initial cut due to the extra time and equipment strain required. If you choose to skip a scheduled weekly mowing, you will be charged the biweekly rate on your next service, as the lawn will require more time and effort to maintain. Regular mowing service does not include bagging; however, bagging can be done upon request for an additional fee. In cases of excessive rain where we are unable to service your lawn during the scheduled week, we will resume on the next available date and charge the biweekly rate due to increased grass height and labor.

Requesting a Re-Service or Service Call:

Service Calls are only available for customers on our Weed & Fertilization Premium 8x Program and start after the 3rd treatment each year. Even long-time customers need to reach that 3-treatment point before requesting one. These calls help us spot-treat small lawn areas to keep things looking great.
Lawns can be unpredictable, and even with regular treatments, weeds might still pop up. The first three visits are designed to handle most of them, and if any stick around, we’re happy to come check it out after that third treatment.

Automatic Renewal

All services added to your account are subject to automatic annual renewal. Each service will be renewed and completed annually unless you contact us directly to cancel or remove it from your account. If no cancellation request is received, services will continue to renew automatically each year.

Payment Policy

At 5 Star Lawn Solutions, all services are due once completed. Our system will charge the card on file the next day. If the card declines, a 15% decline fee will be added—this is what our billing company charges us for failed payments. You’ll get reminders if a payment is missed, but after 60 days with no payment, the account will be sent to collections. However, we’re a completely understanding company—if you haven’t been paid yet or are short on funds, just text or call us to make a payment arrangement. We’re happy to work with you!

Credit Card on File

While auto-pay is encouraged, it’s not required. However, we do require a debit/credit card on file to protect against unpaid bills—which, unfortunately, happens more than you’d think.

If you’re not on auto-pay and pay within 30 days, your card won’t be charged. The only time we run the card is if the account is 30+ days past due or if you ask us to.
